Five little friends of mine were having a joint birthday party, so I made a 4 layer green tinted cake covered in buttercream icing in blue (all boys). Then I made fondant in a few different colors and the kids got to roll it and cut it and decorate the cake. This is the second time I've gone that route, and the kids love it. It was a lot of fun, and they can eat their playdough!

This is a thank you cake that Brigham and I made (together! :) For his MIT advisors. Josh is his head advisor so we made it to look like him. He takes Brigham mountain biking and encourages him to go off of boulders and such. So we make a rock that is carved to look like a famous Labor Economics curve. This is the nerdiest cake I will ever make :)
